(Followed
by the Probationer Myths?)
These
groups below are generally run by, but not always, by
full healers who feel they can share their time to aid
all probationers and fellow healers with their spiritual
and healer growth and development supporting all alike.
It is a place where you can gain and share understandings
and experiences on healing matters in a safe environment
while learning new things and sharing in a loving spiritual
way.

HEALER/PROBATIONER
MEETINGS IN LEEDS
All
NFSH Healers, Probationer Healers and like minded people
are cordially invited to attend these Saturday morning
meetings at Centenary House, North Street, Leeds. Indeed
it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that probationers should
attend as many as they can as part of their training
as it is important to meet other local probationers
and healers. Also there is now a valuable opportunity
to practice healing after the talk, under supervision
- an opportunity many probationers find unavailable
else where, as the main problem for probationers seems
to be lack of healing opportunities. So probationers
- do come! Some of the people you meet may be willing
to act as your sponsors, or put you in touch with likely
contacts if you allow them the opportunity of getting
to know you by attending events whenever you can!
You will be able to find Centenary House easily on foot
from Leeds City centre, by walking up Briggate towards
the Headrow, and then continuing on past the old Allders
building on the left and the Grand Theatre on the right.
Over the inner ring road and you will see Centenary
House on the left. On Saturdays only you will be able
to park in front of the building, but we may be asked
to move once the meeting is ended if there are other
activities at the centre in the afternoon.
All
meetings start at 10.30am. with tea, coffee and biscuits
served from 10 am. This is another excellent opportunity
to meet fellow healers and probationers and like minded
people. The talk usually finishes about 12.15 or maybe
a little later, and we can usually stay until 1pm to
chat or do healing.

NEWARK
with
Joanna Driver
I
endeavour to run a supporting, development type group
in a loving environment where all feel free to share
and learn. We meet every 1st Thursday of the month at
7.30pm and finish at approximately 9.30 - 10.00pm latest.
I do make a charge of £2.50p.
We
start with an informal time
having a drink and catch up on events and what's been
happening in the region. Anyone with any probationer
queries has time to ask questions or express any concerns
they may have. The evening then continues with a meditation
or visualisation at this point giving us all time to
unwind and get ready to work etc.
On
most nights I have information on a syllabus based subject,
prepared earlier, which we study and learn a bit more
about. We then move onto giving each other healing:
one to one, (couch or chair) and at times we undertake
group work including distant and earth healing. We close
the evening with grounding, closing to normal functional
levels and the protection of our, now cleaner, energy
systems.
The group is open to all probationer
and full healer members and anyone else who is interested
in learning about healing and those who would like to
learn more about NFSH methods.

Thank you.

SOME
MYTHS WHICH PROBATIONERS MAY HAVE COME UP AGAINST
PROBATIONER GROUP MYTH
(Myth
-only a full healer can run one!)
The
truth. - It is recommended that a full healer should
be present, just so that there is some point of reference
for the probationers to receive answers to any questions
that may come up. However, it is perfectly acceptable
to have a full healer available at the end of a telephone,
which might be one of the sponsors. In other words,
working with the spirit of what was intended and using
a common sense approach, it really isn't necessary to
have a full healer in attendance all the time if the
group leader is a responsible person and can be relied
on to get in touch if problems arise.
WORKING
ON A STAND MYTH
(Myth
-It is an essential requirement for a probationer to
have worked on a stand)
The
truth. Probationers are definitely not required to have
worked on a stand! Recommended yes, as of course it
adds to their experience, but essential - no.
RECTANGULAR
BADGES MYTH
(Myth
- only a full healer can wear one)
The truth. These are for everyone who is a member, not
just for healers. Ordering info. From Central Office
or ask Carl. So yes, probationers can have them too.
SPONSORING
PROBATIONERS MYTH
(Myth
-you have to have been a full healer for two years before
being able to sponsor)
The
truth. This has recently changed. There is no requirement
to have been a full healer for two year any more. So
newer healers may sponsor.
"As
responsible healers please let us make sure that we
give probationers correct guidance in future as far
as we can!"
